America Deserves A Raise

This story is about my sister Rachel. She is raising the worlds’ next generation. With three beautiful young daughters to raise, Rachel spends every waking moment putting others before herself. She is the most wonderful, hardest working, honest mom I know. As hard as she tries she can’t spend the quality time (and money) that it takes to raise well balanced, god loving children. She works a low paying, hard labor job at a nursing home caring for other peoples forgotten grandmothers, grandfathers, siblings and spouses. The small paychecks she earns are barely enough to feed her family for the week yet she keeps at it because she has to. She’s a strong woman with a tough past including the recent loss of our younger sister yet she stays positive for our entire family and her babies. No matter how tired or stressed she is Rachel never gets a chance to relax or do something nice for herself. If she ever has an extra dollar to her name it goes to her children-maybe a new book or pair of shoes from the Goodwill store-never new, though she may wish it could be. If she ever has a free minute in her day it’s spent helping to make someone else happy. When there’s a prayer on her lips it’s always for others around her, never herself. Please vote for my sister so she can see that she is appreciated and deserves a raise for all of her hard work and sacrifice.
