Full of love and strength, he never gives up...
Nominee: J. H. M.
This is about my husband, the most caring and dependable man you’ll ever meet. Willing to do anything for anybody at any time, even if it means putting his own needs aside. He has never turned down a favor that anyone has asked of him, and is quick to forgive anyone that wrongs him.
He owns a concrete business that he shared with his father and brother. Unfortunately his father is no longer able and his brother passed away a few years ago. The company is basically shut down due to the economy, but he is determined to bring it back. He has severe joint and back troubles that keep him in a lot of pain but he is determined to keep going, to bring the business back by himself. His father worked so hard to create this business to hand down to his sons, and he is determined to be able to do the same for his son and two nephews.
He puts in over 12 hour days most days, and unlike most, is unable to come home to relax. After working all day, he comes home to help take care of his 10 yr old daughter and 2 year old triplets (which is a full time job in itself). He is such a wonderful father. His children’s wants and needs come before anything and he is willing to do anything to make sure they are taken care of.
He has also been thru a lot of recent tragedy. Within the past three years, he almost lost his father to heart problems, and has had to deal with the deaths of a good friend, his sister-in-law, his brother (his best friend), his grandfather, his nephew, and his uncle. All were very close to him.
Also, in 2008, after giving birth to triplets, I almost died due to an infection and a stroke. He spent Fathers Day home alone with an 8 yr old and 3 week old triplets while I was in the hospital. Then for the next several months took care of me (paralyzed on the left side of my body) and four children, while continuing to work full time.
He always puts his family before himself. If they are happy, it’s all that matters to him.
His brother’s three children were left behind in his death. Because of his love for his brother, he would love more than anything to take them in and raise them as his own, but we currently can’t fit seven children in our house.
This money could help him add on to the house and get his company back in business. I already feel like I won the lottery just by having such a wonderful husband in my life. He has provided me with complete unconditional love and I would love to be able to give this gift to him!
And knowing the kind of person his is – I guarantee he would use some of it to help out others in need!
